On an approx. 7/8 mile course - SST-45 = 2 -10 lap qualifiers & 25 lap final

MANDATORY PRE-REGISTRATION! ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PRE-REGISTER BY Tuesday, March 22nd! Entries received after Tuesday, March 22nd will be charged a $50 late fee/entry - NO exceptions. NO on-site registration on race days - (Saturday/Sunday March 26 &27) however, you may add/scratch classes. Late Registration is Friday, March 25th and late fees will apply. All racers or owners must completely fill out the entry form for each class, sign, and either mail with a check (payable to SCSC) or fill out a CC authorization with amount to be charged and fax to Jeannie Doidge at (818) 997-4278. ABSOLUTELY NO race boats are to run on the race course prior to Drivers Meeting on Sat. morning (3/26) without permission. This is a NO WAKE zone until the C.G. Permit becomes effective. Any boats found testing on the race course prior to Drivers Meeting 3/26 may be disqualified at the discretion of Race Committee. BUOY/FLARES: There will be a $150 small buoy charge (polyform A-4); $250 large buoy (Polyform A-6) charge for any buoy(s) DAMAGED or DESTROYED in the races. This will be charged to the driver(s) that DAMAGES or DESTROYS the buoy, regardless of fault. There will be $15/flare charge to driver(s) who causes any unnecessary flares to be fired. A one heat elimination race and two heat finals may be used for the Stock Outboard qualifiers where needed. APBA Inboard/Series Dress Code and pit pass procedures strictly enforced. Classes needing eliminations - Last chance qualifier may be used. Main Events are based on times. Legal heats and classes with 6 or more boats will take priority and classes may be combined at discretion of Race Committee. PITS: Keep ALL NON-RACING equipment (ie: Motorhomes) out of pit area- Motorhomes must Park up on bluff above Pits. There is a designated Motorhome/spectator parking area above pit area. Food & Beverages will be available each day in the pits at the Cantina. If you do not belong to an APBA affiliated club or do not have your club card (proof), you will be asked to join SCSC at this event for $20 membership fee.

This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
