**NO camping is permitted in downtown Evansville.
**RV Parking in downtown Evansville is available and requires advance approval from Race Director. Please email Randy Lientz rlientz@axiomad.com to request parking for your RV. The new location is the large paved lot at the Evansville Museum, 411 SE Riverside Dr, Evansville, IN 47713. This is located upriver from the racecourse at the exit of turn 2, with large trees and very convenient to the pit area. A regular shuttle to the pit entrance will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during testing and racing.

$22,000 USD Total Funds for tow and prize money, except the Grand Prix class which has a separate agreement.
This tow money will be paid to each boat who is properly registered and attends the Saturday morning Drivers Meeting. A Roll Call will be taken.
A boat is eligible for tow money in only one class, regardless of how many classes in which it is registered.
The tow money amount for each boat will be a pro-rated amount of the total fund based on one-way mileage from the zip code of the boats registered owner to Evansville zip code 47713. Longer distances will earn more.
All money will be paid to each teams Representative on Sunday, 09-02-18 at the conclusion of the event at Race Headquarters, 401 SE Riverside Drive, Evansville, IN 47713. This is the red-roofed building called The Pagoda at the upriver end of the Pits. The exact time will be announced at drivers meeting.

A check for the full amount of Entry Fee must be mailed with your completed Race Entry Form.

No-shows will receive a full refund of Entry Fee via USPS mailed at the conclusion of the event.

All boats must be in the water and ready to race at the scheduled times.
Should the number of entries and time permit, two qualifying heats may be held. Testing will be available Friday 08-31-18 from 1:00 pm CDT to 4:30 pm CDT. All boats who want to test must be registered and safety inspected before testing. Once a boat is placed in the pits, it can EXIT ONLY at the conclusion of race activity, and only with the approval of Mr. Chip Wood, Pit Boss. All boats who destroy a buoy will pay $150 USD to Evansville HydroFest for each buoy destroyed.
This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA
An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
