From the north, take State Rt. 301 to South State Rt. 5. Turn right onto State Rt. 249. Piney Point Park and Ramp 7 miles on left.
From the south, take State Rt. 301 north to right turn on State Rt. 234. Follow 234 that will merge onto State Rt. 5 in Leonardtown. Then follow directions above to Rt. 249.

Oval, approximately 7/8 mile. 2 parade laps followed by 5 at speed. Total 7 laps. Total distance 6 miles.

Oct.1 at the entrance to the pits at ramp. Opens at 9 am, closes at 4 pm. Late registration Oct. 2, 7:30 - 8:30 am.

Vintage $110. Vintage fee included. $60 for static displays. Owner must be a member of APBA. 3 crew members and driver are included in the registration fee. $10 per additional person in pits.

This event will follow Maryland Covid 19 social distancing guidelines in effect on that weekend. Additional County guidelines may apply as well.
Please bring personal protection items with you should they be needed. We will have limited quantities of hand sanitizer, masks, etc on hand for personal use. Other Covid protocols will be followed as directed by officials.

Vintage outboards, v-bottoms, small and large tunnels, hydroplanes are welcome.

WE WILL NOT BE HAVING INBOARDS THIS YEAR.

Damaged turn buoys will be $150 paid by driver/ owner payable to SMBC.

The pier is for crew members of a scheduled class heat and officials only. No casual viewing of heats on pier will be allowed per insurance regulations.

This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
