US 2 to Wakefield, MI. Pits located in Eddy Park on north side of Sunday Lake. See bsoaracing.com for more details as there may be road closures for a basketball tournament arriving weekend.
Information on preferred lodging and camping location is available at bsoaracing.com. You must register in advance for camping location on the website.
National classes - approx 1 mile lap. Three laps per heat. Total heat distance of approx 3 miles.
Marathon Classes: Course will follow the outskirts of Sunday Lake and include MINIMALLY one right hand turn.
The race committee reserves the right to move the racecourse.
Clock Start, Marthon events will be Lemans start pending availability of suitable starting location.

Special events: ~50% of entry fee distributed after race

At Site Registration:
- Sunday 7/30 ~ 12 PM to 4 PM - VFW on U.S. Route 2
- Monday 7/31 ~ 8 AM to 2:30 PM - VFW on U.S. Route 2

- Friday for 1hr after racing has concluded. Saturday 8:00-8:30AM Eddy Park Pavilion.
These time slots are specifically devoted to completing these safety inspections and sealing motors. After inspection closes on Monday, a competitor will need a written excuse from the Chief Referee to get a safety inspection and can expect to volunteer for additional flights working in inspection to help carry the extra load.

1. Pitting will be marked you must register online $10/trailer, we will direct where you can and cannot go.
2. No alcohol in the park. There will be a beer garden at the pavilion, this is the only place where alcohol is allowed, no carry ins
3. Pets are allowed as long they are on a leash and you clean up after them. No wandering dogs.
4. Waiver must be signed & wrist bands worn at all times. You must have a wrist band to enter into the restricted/hot pit areas.
5. All props must be covered when carting boats around and in your pits.
6. You must register first and have a 2023 Nationals safety inspection sticker in order to test. Note: (SO SR 14.A). “Any violation of a safety rule: a safety rule of a non-speed advantage nature: unless otherwise specified, shall result in a yellow card to the driver.” (APBA GSR 26, SO SR 8)
7. Racing will begin at 8:00 AM each day, patrol boat drivers report at 7:45 AM.
8. Sunday Lake is closed until official testing Monday July 31.
9. Marathon event will not run before Thursday; Race committee may change scheduled timing based on water conditions.

11. Racing will move to the next daYs schedule if time permits. We reserve the right to adjust the schedule as needed. We will not trap you if we adjust the schedule but be ready if you are getting close to next flight.

13. Prop Manager for 300 class will collect and distribute propellers to drivers
14. APBA J class nationals propellers will be distributed via a prop manager
15. Testing time will occur Monday, July 31st, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with designating groupings for test time, Drivers can only test once they have registered and received a nationals safety inspection sticker.
16. No unauthorized motorized vehicles in the pits
This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA
An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
