DILLON LAKE IS APPROXIMATELY 7 MILES WNW OF ZANESVILLE, OHIO ON STATE ROUTE 146. FROM COLUMBUS - I-70 EASTBOUND, TAKE EXIT #153. TURN LEFT AT THE FOOT OF THE OFF RAMP, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER LEFT TURN (NORTH) ON STATE STREET BACK OVER THE INTERSTATE. PROCEED 3/10TH MILE TO THE INTERSECTION OF RTE 146 (ADAIR AVE). TURN LEFT (WEST) ON RTE 146 FOR APPROXIMATELY 6 MILES TO THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AT CLAY LITTICK RD. TURN LEFT (WEST) ON CLAY LITTICK FOR 2 MILES. BROWN SIGNS WILL DIRECT YOU TO DILLON LAKE STATE PARK "BEACH AREA" AND THE PARK ENTRANCE. FROM WHEELING, WV - WESTBOUND ON I-70 EXIT #153A, STATE STREET, TURN RIGHT (NORTH) ON STATE STREET AND PROCEED ABOUT 3/10TH OF A MILE TO RTE 146 (ADAIR AVE). TURN WEST ON RTE 146 AND PROCEED AS ABOVE. FOLLOW BROWN PARK SIGNS TO THE "BEACH AREA".

DILLON LAKE STATE PARK - 28 COTTAGES, OVER 100 IMPROVED SITES FOR MOTOR HOMES OR CAMPING. CALL THE PARK OFFICE AT 740-453-0442 OR RESERVE ON-LINE. NEW THIS YEAR ARE 24 MOTORHOME SITES IN THE PITS. THEY ARE FOR SELF-CONTAINED RV'S ONLY AND HAVE NO ELECTRICITY, WATER OR SEWER HOOK-UP. NO CAMPING IN THE PITS.CALL THE RACE DIRECTOR TO RESERVE THESE SPACES. MODIFIED NATL. CHAMPIONSHIPS, AND JUNIOR NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS: 3 LAPS ON A TRADITIONAL, SYMMETRICAL, APPROX. 3/4TH MILE COURSE USING 4 OR 5-BUOY TURNS. NOT APPROVED FOR RECORDS. CLASSES FOR MOD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AND J NAC'S MUST MEET CATEGORY MINIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES AND OTHER "CHAMPIONSHIP" CRITERIA. SPECIAL JUNIOR SPRINT RACE: TIME AND CONDITIONS PERMITTING, JUNIOR CLASSES WILL BE OFFERED AN OPPORTUNITY TO ALSO COMPETE IN A SPECIAL SPRINT RACE. THIS RACE WILL HAVE A REDUCED ENTRY FEE, OFFER A 3/8TH MILE SPRINT COURSE, LEMANS/BEACH START OR CLOCK (TO BE ANNOUNCED). HEATS MAY BE RUN BACK-TO-BACK WITH NO RETURN TO THE PITS BETWEEN HEATS. Modified Outboard National Championships-ALL Mod classes.* * * Junior North American Championships-ALL Junior classes (JR, JH, AXSR, AXSH). * * * Testing ONLY after registration and payment of $20/driver fee to cover rescue/insurance expenses. Testing Wednesday 15 July from 1300-1800. Thursday 0900-1700. No testing on race days. Sunday 19 July is a make-up/blow-out racing day. Schedule subject to change based on weather, the number of entries, and time constraints of scoring and inspections. Elimination races and finals races MAY be run on the same day but not in the same flight.

Trophies, plaques, or medallions will be awarded for National Championships 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Medallions awarded for 4th and 5th place. North American Champions in Junior Classes will receive plaques from APBA and all Junior competitors will receive competition medallions. Points for Modified National Championships and NAC's for Junior classes will be per category rules. If eliminations are required due to class size, eliminations will be elimination races and awarded points accordingly.

IN PITS, at Judges Stand. Wednesday: 0900 a.m.-1800 p.m., Thursday 0900 a.m.-1600 p.m. NO mail-in registrations. NO registrations will be accepted after the Drivers' Meeting. You will be required to sign-up for extra duties (turn boat, judges, flags, etc.) at registration.

Will begin PROMPTLY at 1800 (6 pm) Thursday evening at location to be announced. No alcohol will be consumed at this meeting.

Modified Outboard National Championship: $50/Class --- Junior NAC's: $35/Class --- Junior Sprints: $20/class

Alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED in Dillon State Park or in the pits! Only 24 motorhomes are allowed to overnight in the pits. These 24 spaces are reserved at the Race Director's discretion for the Race Committee and for other racer's on a first-come-first-served basis.* * *
Social events: Friday evening "Taste of the Regions" and auction ($5/adult). Saturday evening dinner and Champions Banquet ($15/adult) at Gity's Party Barn adjacent to Park Office. Events hosted by IOA and emcee Brian Cafarelli. Adult beverages are BYOB for both events.

This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
