1969 | Richard McFadyen
McFadyen started racing with a rash of record-setting and championships in Class M Outboards prior to World War II. The following two decades of APBA officiating included fathering the Stock Outboard racing program, largely through postwar Albany-New York marathons.
As Chairman of the SORC and ORC, McFadyen helped formulate many of the rules still used in both categories. His engineering and manufacturing talents created many marine accessories still widely used in recreational boating.
