1966 | Ron Musson
One of the most successful race drivers in history, he lost his life while contending for his familiar first place. From 1952-58, competing in 135, 225, 266 and 7-Litre classes, he won seven national class championships and was high point winner nine times.
In 1959 he moved to Unlimited hydros. His victories included Gold Cup wins (1963-65) and new lap, heat and race records. He also served as a key member of Gold Cup and Unlimited racing commissions.
