Jack Maypole

Son of an early outstanding U.S. Outboard driver, Jack Maypole has been a prominent name in outboard racing since the 1930s. He gave notice of his capabilities as a driver by winning the George H. Townsend Medal in 1932.
Since then he competed in Outboard regattas throughout the U.S. and figured prominently in the record books, having held countless class records for both five-mile competition and mile straightaway.
