For over 30 years, Bob Nordskog accumulated victories both on and off the race course. Known as the Iron Man of powerboat racing, he had more than 150 major wins to his credit, in everything from Open Class Offshore to tunnel Outboard.

Nordskog served on numerous APBA committees and commissions, was APBA President and advisor to the president. A member of the International Affairs Committee, he was very effective in strengthening ties with UIM.

His concern and hard work in the area of drivers' safety made him Chairman of the Safety Advisory Subcommittee.
