1984 | Raldolph (Pep) Hubbell

Raldolph (Pep) Hubbell

Noted for his contribution to Professional Racing Outboard, the late Pep Hubbell made available high quality, reasonably priced parts and assemblies from the 1940s-60s.

Hubbell designed and produced parts for class B and C motors, devoting his skills to keeping the "clamp-ons" alive. His efforts enabled many to keep racing when they otherwise might have lacked the necessary parts. In fact, other Honor Squadron members may owe some of their success to Hubbell parts. The fact that the PRO division survives today is in itself a tribute to Pep Hubbell.
