1985 | Glenn Davis

Davis, of San Dimas, CA, was involved with all phases of racing from building and driving race boats to officiating, to serving as Region Chairman and Drag Vice President.

He worked diligently at local, regional and national levels of APBA during his 35 years in the boat racing fraternity. Since 1958, Davis worked at every race official position (starter, timer, scorer, race chairman and referee) in almost every type of boat racing. During Davis's five years as Drag Vice President, the rules for Drag racing were formulated and recognized by APBA and UIM.

Davis was Commodore (2 years), Vice Commodore (12 years) and Board member of the Southern California Speedboat Club.
