FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUBURNDALE, FL – Per board approval, the Marketing Committee has introduced a rebrand for the American Power Boat Association. This includes a new logo, official colors, and tagline.
After careful consideration and analysis, the committee and board have agreed on a brand that stems from our past while modernizing our approach for the future.
In collaboration with our new design agency and the official apparel company of the APBA – Pryde Apparel – our logo is now designed with the colors Lake Blue and Patriotic Blue to represent our rich history on the water
Those are our new standard colors.
We have also developed a new tagline for our association – “We Are Boat Racing. This mantra will guide and encourage all our members and fans that we are together, we are unique, we are fun, and we are boat racing.
“I’m really excited about the freshening up of the APBA brand and our new tagline. We have merchandise plans, new partners coming on board, and a new website coming together with the new brand image,” stated Marketing Director Dana Potts. “When we started this project, we really wanted to honor the 120-year history of the APBA while modernizing and preparing for the next generation of boat racers. Our goal is when you think of racing boats you think of the APBA because We Are Boat Racing.”
